niyor: 21 months and a Happ(pee!)y New Year!!

Happy new year people! Happy 21 months Lil' Guy !!

Niyor's off to a good start in the new year....he ended the old one on a happy note! In major news the guy peed in his potty for the first time on 30th Dec 2007 !...... a good beginning on the long long road to toilet training him!! We are just getting started on the whole toilet training process although N's been ready for it for quite a while now (3 months or so)...we haven't been ready ourselves owing to one thing or another....before the India trip K and I couldn't devote enough time to it and sort of gave up when N refused to sit on the potty the very first week we tried to acquaint him with the seat.... and then during the two month long India trip it was just not possible to get any sort of training going! The last 3 days there have been no accidents but as K says it's beginner's luck.......so far the pooping in the potty is not yet happening......we just have to keep at it consistently, devote lots of time, energy and patience and take each accident humorously!...keeping my fingers crossed for the process to happen smoothly with the least possible snags!

The fascination with cars keeps growing.......and growing!!....this time around he'd pretend play by making whoever he's playing with sit with him in the front seat while he was in the driver's seat busy honking, turning left/right,changing gears,playing music.......
