11 May 2008 :
During the May 1st to 5th holidays we made a much longed for jaunt to Jeju, the largest island of South Korea located well south on the western end of the peninsula. Jeju do is now known as a self-governing province, also one of UNESCO's world heritage centers, well known as a premier tourist spot.....we had an amazing time there.....we loved the beaches, the picturesque roads, the fish, the oranges, chocolates, the numerous heritage and culture centers, the laidback life........everything!at the Mokpo ferry terminal
refueling
towards the ship,N got along with Karthik really well
boarding the Queen Mary!
fooling around with Karthik during the ship journey
on the ship deck.....it was way too windy
right out of a picture postcard
Seongsanilchulbong.....it's a peak which you can climb, N and I skipped the climbing part!
inside our condo.....just arrived and N already changing the decor, inspite of Jaya's protests!
at Jungmun beach.....N had dozed off....woke up and was happy to see the water!
the submarine tour wasn't such a joy ride for N as he felt a little queasy and had to be pacified with a lollipop (given by a considerate fellow passenger)
I thought this Japanese guy was cute....hence the pic!

N wanted to go his way, and I wanted to record his antics!
N asking Jaya to remove the wrapper of his umpteenth chocolate of the day! I simply gave up.....
"Can I have that and that and that as well?!" at the teddy bear museum
N freaked out and refused to enter the cave.......it was scary no doubt,so we just waited and watched people....
us enjoying our okdom jongshik (okdom is a fish my Korean tutor said I had to eat while in Jeju and so we did.....it was super yum!)
