Lilypie Kids Birthday tickers

a day at the zoo

A couple of weeks ago we visited the Seoul zoo......Lil' Guy had good fun watching the animals...although the giraffes scared him! He fed the rabbits and deer...these days he makes the deer sounds and shows us how he fed the rabbits when we ask him or when he sees the zoo pics!

While looking for the way to the zoo we landed at a museum so we decided to go and have a look inside....no photography of the painitngs/sculpture was allowed hence no pics except this one at the entrance!

18 months!

1st October 2007 :

Today is Lil' Guy's 18 month birthday! Looking back it's been such an amazing ride... and boy how he's grown over the past year and a half it's unbelievable! The past month he's shown even more eagerness to talk...he now keeps on speaking in his own vocabulary and imitates us speak! He remembers names and places with amazing accuracy!
During Chuseok (a major holiday in Korea, celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the lunar Korean calendar. It is a thanksgiving feast), we made a trip to a place called Seokcho located in the far northeast of the country along the coast of the sea of Japan. Seokcho is famous for its beautiful beaches, lush green valleys, waterfalls, Buddhist temples and shrines. It is also the gateway to one of Korea's most beautiful national parks, Mount Soraksan National Park.
Check out our pics from the trip.......
