yummyketta!

30th May 2009:

it's a huge huge sigh of relief to see him eat solids again...the appetite is back on and the sore on his tongue is drying up...

this morning he saw his breakfast, said "yummyketta!" and went on to eat it relishing every bite!

"yummyketta" is a word N made up combining yummy and ketta (from the korean word mashiketta which means yummy!)

stay healthy kiddo!

"Does Superman/Spiderman/Batman drink milk?Yes? So then I will drink it!"
because of a sore on his tongue he's unable to eat solid food at the moment and was even refusing milk,however...on hearing that all superheroes drink milk he drank his share...

27 May 2009 :

Tyranno(that's what N calls himself these days) is down with a viral infection and has been advised by the doc to rest at home...it's a common childhood illness...folks, please do not worry!
Anyways that doesn't stop him from being tyranno around the house...god help stegosaurus!(he calls me stego the herbivore and K is triceratops)

N news

Junu,KJ and N celebrated their third birthday in school on 30th April...not only do they share the same birth month,they are also close pals(on most days when there is no fighting!)

as with most humans there are ups and downs and mood swings...that's what makes life interesting!

A couple of weeks ago N was playing with a ball which has all these different country flags on it...he spotted the korean flag and immediately shouted "daehanminguk!" (the other popular name for the republic of korea) and went on to do the "daehanminguk" cheer!

ghost?!

16th May 2009:

junu and niyor...bff!

An interesting conversation with N last evening:
N:"Mama is a hungry monster!" (oh well i was really hungry and stuffing myself with food!and N has read this book about a hungry monster who eats voraciously...)
Me:"Ok!Who are you?"
N:"I'm tyranno" (as in tyrannosaurus...dinosaurs is the latest craze with N!for the last couple of weeks he's been eating,talking,sleeping dinosaurs!)
and then our talk veered off....
N:"Ghost!"
Me:"What?"
N:"Junu told me a ghost story today!Ghost is a scary thing"
He went on to show how Junu acted like a ghost...
Me:"What's a ghost?"
N:"A bad guy"
Me:"Tyranno is scared of ghost?"
N:"Yes!"
Me:"Tyranno is scared of ghost?"
N:"NO!Tyranno will kill ghost!"

Needless to add there's been a lot of killing going around!I don't think the obsession with superheroes is over but dinosaurs have taken over for the moment!
